About me

Hiya! My name is Raff and I am a passionate UX Designer.

I have worked in the digital industry for over 7 years. Starting as a Learning Designer, my interests shifted towards a career in UX Design, where I can help companies to identify problems and design solutions that help them reach their audiences.

During the past 3 years, I have worked with start-ups as well as international companies such as Dogs Trust, McArthurGlen, PDSA, Cosmos Travel, Rethink Mental Illness.

I am curious about people and I am interested in how we all use technologies. I am a firm believer that creativity happens when you work collaboratively which is why I bring teams together from developers to clients, to share knowledge and be part of the creative process.

I have worked on projects from end to end. I have worked on tenders and developed UX strategies. I have lead formative research and conducted usability testing. I have driven the ideation process from running design studios, wireframing and prototype.

I play volleyball in the English league and I volunteer at Akwaaba, the charity for migrants and refugees I helped to build the website for. As you can see from some of the pictures on my website, I love travelling and at the beginning of 2017 I took the opportunity to travel for six months. Starting with Australia, I carried on through Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, India to then all the way to South America where I visited Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.

Do you want to know my favourite place?

Difficult to say, however, there will always be a piece of India in my heart as I have had the amazing opportunity to volunteer for Thriveseed, an organisation that helps children in the slums of New Delhi City.
